It seems like our whirlwind start has come to a temporary halt as we continue to adjust to life with COVID-19. Our offices are temporarily closed for in-office visits unless there are urgent situations. We have been doing telemedicine consultations to the best as those capabilities allow.

We have taken this time to catch up and fine tune our practices and procedures especially given there will likely be a "new normal" at the other end of this pandemic.
To get the current global/US statistics and updates, Johns Hopkins has an amazing site to keep track of all COVID-19 related happenings. Maryland.gov has also set up a site to track trends.
If you want a more analytical breakdown of the global and US COVID-19 situations and what should be done, Tomas Pueyo has a great series of articles on medium.com which will get the wheels turning.
As you are probably well aware by now, the most common symptoms of COVID-19 are:
fever
coughing
shortness of breath
Other symptoms include:
fatigue
muscle/body aches
runny nose
diarrhea
New research is also suggesting that sudden loss of smell or sudden hearing loss may be early symptoms of COVID-19 infection. If you are experiencing this, please contact our office immediately for evaluation.
Testing for COVID-19 has been the one of the biggest concerns because of the slow and delayed initiation. There still needs to be much more availability, but here is a list of sites in the DMV region for testing.
We are closely monitoring the situation in Maryland and will plan to re-open the offices again when the curve begins to flatten and are past the peak. Until then, please continue practicing social distancing, staying at home if at all possible, and frequent hand-washing.
On a more personal note, we have been trying to balance our new roles as teachers for our kids along with everything else. Ever the optimist, we have spent this newfound extra time better appreciating the joys of life. We are enjoying more time with our children doing activities together such as family exercise, indoor picnics, and cooking/baking. It is times like these that make you truly take a step back to reassess the priorities in life.
We wish you all to be safe and healthy, and we are trying to do our part to stop the spread of the virus. There will be a light at the end of the tunnel, and we will come out of this stronger!
We are here if you need us!
